The Fleet
Piedmont Flight Training maintains a fleet of single engine Beechcraft, Piper and Cessna
aircraft to provide instruction at all levels from private pilot through instrument rating
through complex aircraft through commercial. We also maintain a Piper Seneca One to provide
the capabilities to obtain a multi-engine rating through an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP).
The workhorse of the private pilot training world is Cessna's 172 series.
This high-wing, single-engine design is among the most popular styles of aircraft ever made.
Piper's Archer series provides a variation on private pilot and instrument training for those who prefer low-wing aircraft.
Piper's Arrow series is a natural first step into the world of complex aircraft (variable-pitch prop and retractable landing gear).
Cessna's 172SP is one of the newer model 172. This Cessna 172 comes equipped with autopilot, King KLN 94 IFR GPS and a King MFD.
Piper's Seneca is Piedmont Flight Training's new addition. This Piper Seneca is our multi-engine.
Avionics includes a Garmin IFR GPS/COM, Garmin Transponder, Garmin Audio Panel, autopilot, King Nav/COM and much more.
