Approved Part 141 School
Part 141 requirements allow for an estimated 60 hours less flight time than Part 61 when obtaining private through commercial instrument certificates. This allows for an estimated savings of approximately $8,000. Students can complete there instrument rating with the approved 35 hour course instead of having to build 50 hours of cross country time. Students can also save money by completing their commercial license is as low as 190 hours with the approved Part 141 curriculum as opposed to the 250 required hours of Part 61.
Use your GTCC Aviation Classes as Credit for Your
Ground Training
Our Part 141 program accepts Guilford Technical Community College course work as full credit for required ground training. Anyone can sign up for Private, Instrument, and Commercial ground course at GTCC for as low as $150.00 a class for in state residents.
